I love the color and I tested under running water, the water runs right off the coated side. Although it is thin, the material seems pretty durable and the threads seem to be holding together well on the cut side, there is not a lot of frizzing. This is the first time I've worked with this kind of material before, however, so I don't know how durable it actually is yet. This material will be turned into sheep coats to protect my sheep's wool from hay and dirt, so it will soon be tested to its limits. 400 denier nylon was recommended by other coat makers for this project so I assume this will do the job well. My only issue was with the way it was cut, it was not cut very straight so I had to straighten it out myself as I need perfectly square pieces of material. Canvasetc did send an extra 2.5in of material though, which was more than enough to leave me with what I ordered after I trimmed it straight.
